The Plastic Problem:
Plastic has become a necessity in most of our lives whether we like it or not. Most of us, however, never consider what happens to the plastic that we use and discard. There are currently over 5 trillion micro and macro pieces of plastic in our oceans. These bits of plastic travel up the food chain and cause serious harm not only to the environment, but also to humans due to indirect consumption. Several efforts have been made to help solve this problem but it is not nearly enough to bring about a change unless all of us unite to work towards solving this problem as a species to save our planet.
This project is a cumulative break down of all the information collected over a period 4 months regarding the plastic problem in India. The key SDGS highlighted in this project are:
Climate Action and Responsible Consumption and Production
